Linen Curtains - Pencil pleat

Pencil pleat linen window curtains - carefully handmade in 100% pure natural linen fabric. We can make your linen curtains unlined, We can also make them lined with thick and heavy blackout lining, or lined with thin privacy lining.

* pencil pleat top curtains should be as wide as your curtain rod or track, or just a bit wider +-2"/5cm.
* we measure the curtain width at the top (after pleats).
* the length is measured from the top of the curtain to the bottom hem.

* if you would like the panel to pool on the floor, add 5-25cm to the length.

* UNLINED CURTAINS // Curtains made of medium-weight linen fabric are not sheer, therefore allowing a bit of privacy. Unlined curtains have a natural look of linen and are recommended as curtains for the living room, main bedroom, or kitchen however they dont offer light blockout or thermal properties. 

* CURTAINS LINED WITH PRIVACY LINING // Thin privacy lining boosts the opacity of the curtain and blocks some light. The lined curtain fabric is not see-through, therefore it allows quite much privacy. Recommended where full light blocking is not necessary (living room, bathroom, kitchen).

* BLACKOUT CURTAINS // Thick and heavy professional blackout lining provides good insulation to the window, reduces external noise, and blocks a lot of light. Blackout curtains are recommended where room darkening and full privacy are needed (main bedroom, children's bedroom, or media rooms).

Lining offers several benefits: it provides fullness and a professional finish to window treatments. Lining a curtain panel offers more insulation to the room and protects the curtain from fading. The lining also makes varied window curtains look uniform from the exterior of the home, maintaining the natural look and beauty of linen from the inside.

* we use great quality, white color, professional blackout, and privacy linings, 100% polyester. Please note that our blackout lining colour is a slight grey tone, because of the dark threads which are woven through the fabric. The threads are necessary for proper insulation and light-blocking properties. The thinner privacy lining is pure white colour, and provides a clean and elegant look.
