Alocasia Macrorrhiza - Stingray | Indoor House Plant

The Alocasia 'Stingray' named after the stingray due to its unique shaped leave is very impressive. If you are looking for something a little different then this one is a must-have!

Pot diameter: 12cm Growers Pot. Approximately 40cm tall.

This plant thrives best in bright, indirect light but will survive in shade. Take care to avoid direct sunlight.

It is best to water this plant regularly during the growing season and always keep the soil evenly moist but not overwatered. Alocasia plants require less water during their dormant period in the winter. You can allow the topsoil to become slightly dry between each watering.

This plant variety prefers warmer living conditions with preferred temperatures between 18-24 degrees.

Use a diluted balanced fertiliser through the spring and summer months every two weeks.

In the right conditions, this Alocasia is considered to be a reasonably fast growing plant which can reach up to 1.2 metres in height.

These plants are considered toxic if ingested so it’s important to keep them away from children and pets.
