Box pleat curtains are the most architectural of curtain styles — the pleats are sewn in, the folds fall in clean, structured lines from top to bottom, and the effect is immediate and considered without requiring any shaping or steaming. Unlike pencil pleat curtains, which need to be trained into position, box pleats hold their form from the moment they are hung. The spaces between the folds are 10–14cm, giving the curtain its rhythm and its presence.

Made from 340gsm fabric with a 3-pass blockout coating — full privacy, complete light blockout, and thermal insulation in a single panel. The linen-look face fabric gives the curtain a natural, textural quality that reads as considered and calm in any interior. Available in ten colourways across four widths, all at a 270cm drop. Handmade to order in our New Zealand studio.

Sizing & Fitting Notes

Box pleat curtains should be as wide as your track, plus approximately 5cm
Width is measured at the top of the curtain after pleats are sewn
Length is measured from the top of the curtain to the bottom hem
To pool on the floor, add 5–25cm to the length — contact us for custom lengths
For extra width, purchase additional panels — we can sew them together on request
