Alpaca & Wool Bouclé Throw - Ash

Ash is the colour of things that have been through fire and come out quieter for it — a grey with depth, with the faint blue undertone of coastal light and overcast sky. In this bouclé throw, it arrives in 89% Peruvian alpaca: fibre grown at altitude in the Andes, where cold air and thin light produce a softness and thermal quality that no lowland wool can replicate. The 11% wool gives the structure; the alpaca gives everything else.

The bouclé weave adds dimension to the Ash colourway in a way that a flat weave cannot — the looped surface catches light unevenly, so the grey shifts and deepens depending on the hour and the angle. Draped over a linen sofa or folded at the foot of a bed dressed in soft whites and cool neutrals, it brings the quality of a considered interior without requiring anything else of the room.

At 150 × 240cm, it is generous enough to use and beautiful enough to leave out. Naturally hypoallergenic and lanolin-free, it is as kind to sensitive skin as it is to the eye.
