The deep, settled tone of the cotton sateen ground — woven from 400 thread count long-staple cotton into a surface that is smooth, faintly luminous, and cool against the skin — is finished with two satin stitch lines along the cuff in a tone-on-tone detail that is precise without being decorative. Sateen's particular quality is its drape — the way it falls across a pillow with a liquid weight that holds its shape through the night. Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold or warm (30–40°C) — gentle cycle
• Do not bleach — preserves the sateen surface and satin stitch detail
• Tumble dry on medium heat, or line dry in shade
• Warm iron on reverse if desired — the sateen surface responds well to light pressing
• Wash before first use to activate the full softness of the weave
