The French Stripe is a study in restraint. A natural linen ground — the colour of unbleached flax, warm and organic — carries three rich cocoa-coloured stripes that give the cushion its structure and its character. It is a combination that has been working for a long time and continues to work: the stripe adds direction without pattern, the linen adds texture without noise, and the cocoa grounds the whole thing without darkening it.

Made from heavy textured linen, the cover has a substantial hand-feel and a surface that rewards touch — the weave is visible, the weight is present, and the fabric improves with age and washing. At 60 x 60cm it is a generous proportion, suited to larger sofas and beds where a standard 50cm cushion would feel undersized. Available as a cover only, or paired with a feather inner for a plump, relaxed finish.
