The same hand block-printed painterly indigo stripe on 100% pure linen as the smaller bolster, in the grand format that is designed to sit along the full width of the bed. At 18 × 120cm, it makes a bold horizontal statement — the kind of visual impact that a scatter cushion cannot achieve, that defines the bed as a composed object rather than a place to sleep. The hand block-printing process means each impression is made by hand, one at a time: slight shifts in pressure, depth of colour, the occasional ghost of a repeat. Any irregularities are not imperfections. They are the signature of the craft, and the reason each piece is unique.
