Before the falls, the Waikato moves with a kind of concentrated energy — deep, glacial, impossibly green. The riverbanks hold their ferns and mosses close. The light filters through in layers. There is mist, and the sound of water, and the particular stillness that exists just upstream of something extraordinary.

This cushion cover begins in that place. Printed onto pure French organic linen, the image carries the full saturation of the river in daylight — the emerald depth, the soft blur of foliage, the quality of light that belongs only to Aotearoa's river corridors. The natural slubs and irregularities of the linen weave add texture to the image rather than competing with it, the fabric's grain echoing the layered greens of the bank. The reverse is plain natural linen: quiet, unprinted, composed.

In a room, it brings the outside in without effort. A square of living colour that earns its place through depth, not decoration.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold (30°C), gentle cycle
• Wash separately for first wash to preserve print integrity
• Line dry in shade — linen softens beautifully with each wash
• Warm iron on reverse if needed; avoid ironing directly over the printed face
• Do not tumble dry or dry clean
