A deep, warm charcoal that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, that makes the whites around it whiter, the naturals warmer, the greens richer. It is the colour of a room at dusk, of a well-worn leather chair, of the kind of interior that has been edited down to only what matters.

These cushions are woven from 100% European linen, sourced from France and Italy, then stonewashed to a softness that arrives immediately and deepens with time. The finish is relaxed and slightly textured — the quality of cloth that has been worn in rather than worn out. A double-stitched French seam runs the perimeter: a detail that is invisible in use and entirely deliberate in craft.

Each cushion comes with a plush feather inner included. The weight and fullness of a proper feather fill changes how a cushion sits, how it holds its shape, how it feels to rest against. These are cushions made to be used, not arranged.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Wash separately or with like colours — dark colours may transfer on first wash
• Do not bleach
• Lay flat or line dry in the shade — stonewashed linen softens further with each wash
• Cool iron while slightly damp if needed; the relaxed finish is part of the character
• Do not tumble dry on high heat
• Remove feather inner before washing the cover
