Spice is the tone of late afternoon light on a terracotta wall, of saffron steeped in warm water, of the earth in a dry summer garden. It is a colour that makes a room feel inhabited — not decorated, but lived in, gathered around, returned to. Against linen whites and naturals it glows. Against deep greens and shadows it deepens into something richer still.

These cushions are woven from 100% European linen, sourced from France and Italy, then stonewashed to a softness that arrives immediately and improves with time. The finish is relaxed and slightly textured — the quality of cloth that has been worn in rather than worn out. A double-stitched French seam runs the perimeter: a detail that is invisible in use and entirely deliberate in craft.

Each cushion comes with a plush feather inner included. The weight and fullness of a proper feather fill changes how a cushion sits, how it holds its shape, how it feels to rest against. These are cushions made to be used, not arranged.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Wash separately or with like colours
• Do not bleach
• Lay flat or line dry in the shade — stonewashed linen softens further with each wash
• Cool iron while slightly damp if needed; the relaxed finish is part of the character
• Do not tumble dry on high heat
• Remove feather inner before washing the cover
