Smoke is a colour that does not announce itself. It arrives in a room the way early morning light does — gradually, evenly, making everything around it feel a little more settled. It is the blue-grey of coastal air, of overcast sky, of the particular stillness that comes just before the weather changes. In a room of warm neutrals it brings a cooling counterpoint; in a room already built on cool tones it deepens and anchors the palette without competing with it.

In this cushion, Smoke arrives in 100% European linen, carefully sourced from France and Italy and stonewashed to a soft, lived-in finish. The double-stitched French seams and subtle panel detailing give the cushion a quiet structure that suits a colour this restrained — the construction is considered, not decorative, and it lets the colourway do the work. The feather inner is included: plush, full, and present from the first evening.
