Black in linen is not the same as black in cotton — the natural variation in the linen fibre gives it a depth and texture that a flat, uniform black does not have. It is a colour that reads as sophisticated and considered, that works with warm neutrals (where it provides graphic contrast and definition), with other darks (where it adds depth and atmosphere), and with white and natural linen (where it becomes the defining element of the arrangement). In this duvet cover, it arrives in 100% European linen at 165gsm, Airo washed for a softness that is present from the first night and that deepens with every wash as the linen relaxes and improves. Naturally thermoregulating, hypoallergenic, and antibacterial.

Made to order in our New Zealand studio. Button closure at the foot. Pillowcases available separately in Oxford border or King (lodge) size. Please allow 4 weeks for your piece to be crafted before it begins its journey to you.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash warm at 40°C — wash separately before first use
• Tumble dry on low heat
• No ironing required — the relaxed linen texture is intentional
• Do not bleach; avoid fabric softeners to preserve the natural linen drape
