Duck Egg is one of those colours that is difficult to name precisely — and that is exactly its quality. A soft, muted blue-green that sits somewhere between the sky and the sea, between aged ceramic and weathered copper, it carries a particular stillness that makes a bedroom feel cooler, calmer, and more considered. Against white walls it reads as a gentle accent; against natural timber it deepens into something almost coastal; against white linen it creates a composition that feels entirely resolved. It is a colour that does not compete with anything in the room, but that makes everything around it look more deliberate.
The fabric is 100% European linen at 220 GSM — a substantial, heavyweight construction grown, milled, and woven in Europe, then sewn to order in our New Zealand studio. Airo-washed before it reaches you, the cloth has an extraordinary softness from the first night: not the stiffness of raw linen, but something already open, already supple, with the characteristic surface variation and natural texture that only flax can produce. It is naturally breathable, antibacterial, and thermoregulating — cool in summer, warm in winter — and it improves with every wash, becoming more itself over time. Hidden button closure at the foot of the duvet. Pillowcases available in Oxford border and King / Lodge formats, sold separately. Each piece is individually crafted to order; please allow 2–4 weeks from order to dispatch.

Care Instructions
