Oxide is not a colour that asks for attention. It commands it quietly — a deep, dark olive green with the particular depth of iron-rich soil, of aged bronze, of a forest floor after rain. In a bedroom it does something that few colours can: it makes the room feel both larger and more contained, more intentional, more resolved. Against white walls it reads as a considered statement; against timber or stone it becomes part of the architecture; against natural linen in oatmeal or sand it creates a palette that feels entirely of a piece. This is a colour for rooms that have been thought through.

The fabric is 100% premium European linen at 211gsm  — a heavyweight construction that drapes with real substance, holds its shape across the bed, and has the characteristic open weave and natural surface variation that only flax can produce. Airo-washed before it reaches you, the cloth has an extraordinary softness from the first night — not the stiffness of raw linen, but something already broken in, already itself. It will only improve. Naturally breathable, antibacterial, and thermoregulating, it keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter without any synthetic intervention. Each piece is individually crafted to order in our New Zealand studio.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash warm, 40°C, gentle cycle
• Tumble dry low heat
• No ironing needed — the relaxed finish is intentional
• Softens further with every wash
• Do not bleach
