The Citrine Linen Duvet Cover Set is woven from 100% European flax linen at 230gsm: a weight that is almost double what most linen sold in New Zealand and Australia carries, and the difference is immediately apparent. It drapes with a substance that lighter linens cannot achieve, holds its shape through the night, and carries the natural texture of flax in a way that reads as considered rather than casual.

Each piece is finished with a calendered surface — a process that passes the fabric through heated rollers to produce a soft sheen and a silky-smooth hand feel that is beautifully lived-in from the very first night. The fabric is made in Europe from long-staple flax and then cut and sewn by hand in New Zealand, where every detail is attended to: the hidden button closure that keeps the duvet in place without visible hardware, the Oxford-edged pillowcases with their structured flange, the seams that will hold through years of washing and use. Linen improves with age. This set is designed to be kept.

• Machine wash warm (40°C) — gentle cycle
• Do not bleach — preserves the linen weave and calendered finish
• Tumble dry low, or line dry — linen dries quickly and naturally
• No ironing required — the relaxed, natural texture of linen is the point
• Softens and improves with every wash — this is fabric designed to age beautifully
