There is a particular kind of dressing that is not about going anywhere. The Linen Pyjamas in Black are made for the hours before the day begins in earnest — for the unhurried morning, the long weekend, the evening that extends further than planned. Cut in a generous, relaxed fit from 100% pure flax linen, stonewashed for immediate softness, they have the quality of something you have owned for years: already broken in, already easy, already exactly right. The black colourway gives the set a particular composure — not the flatness of a dyed synthetic, but the depth of linen that has absorbed colour into its natural texture, shifting between charcoal and true black depending on the light.

The shirt is a classic button-up with a relaxed, unstructured collar — comfortable enough to sleep in, considered enough to wear beyond the bedroom. The pants have straight legs and a drawstring waist, cut generously for ease of movement. Both pieces are unisex and sized to be roomy rather than fitted — linen at its most unconstructed. Regular use and laundering will only improve the cloth: the stonewashing process opens the fibres before the set reaches you, and the linen will continue to soften and drape more beautifully with every wash. Each set is individually crafted to order in our New Zealand studio; please allow 3–4 weeks from order to dispatch.
