There is a particular comfort in bedding that has been thought through rather than simply made. The Lumière Duvet Cover in Chocolate is that kind of object. Woven from a 59% linen, 41% cotton blend at 236 GSM — a medium weight that drapes with substance without ever feeling heavy — it brings together the best qualities of both fibres in a single cloth. The linen contributes its characteristic breathability, its natural temperature regulation, and the earthy, lived-in texture that only flax can produce. The cotton contributes immediate softness and a suppleness that softens the linen's tendency to crease. The result is a fabric that feels considered from the first night and improves with every wash.

Chocolate sits at the richer end of the neutral spectrum — a deep, warm brown that carries the particular depth of dark earth and aged timber. In a bedroom, it grounds without heavying: against white walls it reads as contrast; against oatmeal or stone it becomes part of the composition. The linen-cotton blend gives the Chocolate colourway a surface variation that shifts between cocoa and something closer to espresso depending on the light and the drape of the cloth. The cover is cut from extra-wide fabric so there is no centre seam — the surface reads as a single, uninterrupted plane across any bed size, which gives the made bed a particular calm.
