There is a particular comfort in bedding that has been thought through rather than simply made. The Lumière Duvet Cover in Indigo is that kind of object. Woven from a 59% linen, 41% cotton blend at 236gsm — a medium weight that drapes with substance without ever feeling heavy — it brings together the best qualities of both fibres in a single cloth. The linen contributes its characteristic breathability, its natural temperature regulation, and the earthy, lived-in texture that only flax can produce. The cotton contributes immediate softness and a suppleness that softens the linen’s tendency to crease. The result is a fabric that feels considered from the first night and improves with every wash.

Indigo is a colour with depth and history — a rich, blue-toned dark that carries the particular gravity of natural dye and aged cloth. In a bedroom it reads as calm rather than dramatic: against white walls and pale timbers it anchors the space without overwhelming it; against natural linen and warm neutrals it creates a contrast that feels considered rather than deliberate. The linen-cotton blend gives the Indigo colourway a surface variation that shifts between navy and something closer to slate depending on the light and the drape of the cloth — never flat, always present. The cover is cut from extra-wide fabric so there is no centre seam, giving the made bed a single, uninterrupted calm. Button closure at the base. Care Instructions

• Machine wash 40°C — gentle cycle, wash separately
• Tumble dry low heat
• No ironing needed — the relaxed finish is intentional
• Do not bleach — preserves the Indigo tone and linen-cotton fibre integrity
• Softens further with every wash
