The Majeste® Hotel Luxury Duvet Cover Set speaks that language fluently. Its origins trace to the Italian textile tradition of the 1920s, when a single embroidered line at the border of white cotton bedding became the signature of a certain kind of understated luxury - the kind that does not announce itself, but that you recognise immediately when you encounter it. The fabric is 100% extra long-staple cotton sateen, woven in Europe to a smooth, luminous finish that drapes with a liquid weight and improves with every wash. The sateen weave produces a surface that catches the light along its folds - not shiny, but present - and the hand feel is cool and refined from the first night. The black line embroidery runs as a single, precise stitch at the border of the duvet cover and pillowcases: a detail that is structural rather than decorative, and that gives the whole set a tailored, resolved quality.
