A flat sheet is the most elemental piece of bedding — the layer closest to the skin, the one that sets the tone for everything above it. The Majesté® Flat Sheet in Pure White is crafted from 190gsm pure European flax linen: the heaviest, most substantial linen bedding available in New Zealand or Australia, sewn and finished here in our New Zealand studio. At this weight, it drapes with an authority that lighter linens cannot replicate — substantial enough to hold its line across the bed, fine enough to breathe freely through the night.

The flax is grown and milled entirely in Europe — in the cool, rain-fed fields where linen has been cultivated for centuries. The fabric arrives in New Zealand, where each sheet is cut and finished with precision by hand. Stonewashed before it reaches you, the surface is already softened, already carrying the particular ease of linen that has been worked rather than simply woven. It feels against the skin the way only properly made linen can — cool at first contact, then warm, then simply present.

Pure White in linen is not the white of bleached cotton. It is the white of morning light through sheer curtains — warm at the edges, luminous at the centre, with the natural variation of the flax fibre visible in the weave. It reflects light, amplifies texture, and improves with every wash as the flax deepens in character. Sold as a single flat sheet, so you can build the bed at your own pace or layer with other pieces from the Majesté® range.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash warm, 40°C maximum on a gentle cycle
• Use a gentle, pH-neutral detergent — avoid bleach and fabric softeners
• Tumble dry low, or line dry in the shade to preserve the weave
• Iron slightly damp on a medium setting, or embrace the natural texture — both are correct
• The fabric softens and improves with every wash; this is linen as it was always meant to be
