Our Majesté® Pillowcases in Natural are made from 190gsm pure European flax linen: the heaviest, most substantial linen bedding available in New Zealand or Australia. This is not a weight you find on the high street. It is the weight of considered living.

The flax is grown and milled entirely in Europe — in the cool, rain-fed fields where linen has been cultivated for centuries. The fabric arrives in New Zealand, where each pillowcase is cut and sewn by hand in our local studio. The result is something genuinely rare: a European-quality linen, finished with New Zealand precision, available exclusively through The Foxes Den.

Natural is the colour of the flax plant before any intervention — a warm, slightly variable oatmeal tone that carries the living character of the fibre in its surface. No two pairs are identical; the slight variation in colour and weave is not a flaw but the signature of a fabric made from a living plant. Stonewashed to a relaxed, lived-in softness from the very first use, these pillowcases settle into the bed as though they have always been there. Sold as a pair.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash warm, 40°C maximum on a gentle cycle
• Use a gentle, pH-neutral detergent — avoid bleach and fabric softeners
• Tumble dry low, or line dry in the shade to preserve the weave and natural tone
• Iron slightly damp on a medium setting, or embrace the natural texture — both are correct
