Longer than a standard, wider than a Euro, it is the pillowcase that suits the generous scale of a king or super king bed — the one that fills the space without crowding it, that gives the bed a sense of ease and intention rather than afterthought. The Majesté® Lodge Pillowcase in Natural is crafted from 190gsm pure European flax linen: the heaviest, most substantial linen available in New Zealand or Australia, sewn and finished here in our New Zealand studio.

The flax is grown and milled entirely in Europe — in the cool, rain-fed fields where linen has been cultivated for centuries. The fabric arrives in New Zealand, where each pillowcase is cut and sewn with precision by hand. Stonewashed to a relaxed, lived-in softness from the very first use, the surface is immediately cool and settled — the particular quality of linen that only deepens with every wash. The 4cm Oxford border adds quiet structure: a tailored frame that gives the pillowcase a considered finish without formality.

Care Instructions

  • Machine wash warm, 40°C maximum on a gentle cycle
  • Use a gentle, pH-neutral detergent — avoid bleach and fabric softeners
  • Tumble dry low, or line dry in the shade to preserve the weave
  • Iron slightly damp on a medium setting, or embrace the natural texture — both are correct
