Chalk is the colour of a room that knows how to be still. Neither white nor cream, it sits in the space between — the tone of morning light on plaster, of linen dried in open air, of a bedroom that has been thought about and then left to breathe. Against warm timber, it glows. Against stone or slate, it softens. It asks nothing of the room and gives everything to it.

The Coverlet Throw is woven from double-layered Turkish cotton in a naturally crinkled weave that carries its own texture without effort. It is weightless in the hand and generous on the bed — the kind of piece that works in July pulled over a duvet, and in January as the only layer you need. Breathable, thermoregulating, and softening with every wash, it moves through the seasons without asking you to think about it.

Handcrafted to order in New Zealand from OEKO-TEX® certified Turkish cotton. Draped at the foot of a bed, folded over a reading chair, or layered across the sofa on a slow afternoon — it performs in every context with the same unhurried ease.

• Machine wash cold or warm, gentle cycle — the crinkled weave is designed to be lived in
• Tumble dry low or line dry in shade to preserve the natural texture
• No ironing required — the crinkle is the finish
