Nutmeg is a dry, warm brown - less red than cinnamon, more muted than ochre, closer to the colour of freshly ground spice or the inner grain of aged timber. In short-pile cotton velvet, it carries a particular understated richness: the pile shifts between warm taupe and deep brown depending on the light, always grounded, never demanding. The elongated lumbar silhouette makes it the natural foundational piece for layering on a bed or adding a refined accent to a sofa. Pairs beautifully with natural linen, warm whites, aged timber, and stone.
