Oyster is a warm, creamy off-white with pale grey undertones - closer to the inner surface of a shell than to white, warmer than ivory, darker than cream. It is a colour that sits quietly in a room, making everything around it feel considered. In short-pile cotton velvet, it carries a particular luminosity: the pile catches light gently, shifting between warm white and the faintest grey depending on the angle, always composed, never cold. The elongated lumbar silhouette makes it the natural foundational piece for layering on a bed or adding a refined accent to a sofa. Pairs beautifully with white linen, natural timber, pale stone, and warm metallics.
