Wisteria is a dusty, muted mauve — the colour of the flower at its most faded, of lavender fields in late afternoon, of a purple that has been softened by light until it sits somewhere between lilac and grey. In a room, it reads as gentle and considered rather than bold: the kind of colour that works against linen, against white, against warm neutrals, without demanding attention. In this lumbar cushion, it arrives in 100% short-pile cotton velvet: a fabric with a subtle lustrous finish that catches the light differently depending on the angle, giving the colour a quiet, shifting depth that flat weaves cannot replicate.

Individually crafted to order in our New Zealand studio. Please allow 1–2 weeks for your piece to be completed. Includes a plush feather insert. Machine washable.
